Ontara Red
Sweet pepper Ontara Red (capsicum annuum) is an unconventional sweet pepper that hails from Eastern Europe. Its fruits are round like a tomato, that‘s the reason sometimes it‘s called tomato pepper. The fruits have shiny, firm skin. The flesh is very juicy, and the walls are astonishing 8mm thick.
Once the seeds and central core are removed, the fruit are superb stuffed and baked. Alternatively, they can be fried or roasted, or used raw in salads and salsas.
