Tomato collector from Belarus Andrej Baranovskij bought this tomato variety from an old woman at the farmers' market in Minsk, the capital of Belarus in 2007. According to her story, it is an old Belarusian variety. Baranovskij called this tomato "Belorusskoje Serdze" - Belarusian Heart. In the USA it has been known as Belarusian Heart since 2008. High-yielding variety, fruits are chunky to beautifully heart-shaped, red, fleshy, have few seeds, have a tomato-like flavor, are aromatic, weigh around 150-400 grams and are around 5 to 9 cm long. Leave 1-2 stems. With just one stem you get more larger fruits.
