Purple Smaragd
Purple Smaragd is one of my three favorite varieties, it has a sweet taste! Purple Smaragd is said to be heirloom from Wienerwald/Austria. I wonder if it is really a heritage, but let's not mention it in the misle selection! It was one of my favorite fresh fruits, no salt, no spice..just put a tomato in your mouth. Mmmm. The plant is of medium height, up to 150 cm. The fruits are beautiful burgundy with green and silver stripes..., have a wonderful taper,... remind of old Christmas tree balls. The plant is resistant to diseases. It's early. Vegetation time of 75-80 days.
