Tomato Fred - a variety originating from central Missouri, Glasgow district. This tomato was brought by a farmer from the Columbia farmers market, it was an heirloom tomato that the whole family had grown for many years.
The "Fred" tomato is much larger than ordinary tomatoes, its fruits are large, heart-shaped, bicolor. The beauty of this tomato is exceptional, the cut is of three colors, red, pink and yellow, and sometimes an orange vein permeates this tomato. The size of the fruit is from 200 to 500gr. We will grow this variety for more than one season, due to its excellent dessert taste, when eating you would not say that it is a tomato, it is like an exotic fruit. The foliage is ordinary, but the plant prefers a hot climate, this is evidenced by the volume, cut and taste of the fruit.
