There are two different versions of this heirloom tomato. Many sources state that it has potato-leaf foliage, but a regular-leaf version also exists. We have the regular-leaf version. The source from which we obtained the seeds markets it as a potato-leaf type; however, the tomato plant shown in the photograph has regular leaves.
A rare Kentucky heirloom, this is a late-season tomato plant. It is an indeterminate variety that produces tomatoes weighing 250–500g. Be sure to provide strong support for the plants, as the fruit clusters are very heavy. The fruit has an exceptional sweet taste with an old-fashioned aroma.
