This Spanish heritage orange has a great sweet-smooth flavor. It is fleshy but juicy in fruits with an average weight of about 150gr or slightly more, with few seeds. The fruit has little acid, but has a mild aftertaste. This is an energetic plant of unlimited growth, characterized by an impressive hereditary resistance to diseases. Valencia is reliable for cultivation, even in northern climates, maturing in 75-80 days. This breed is said to be a family heirloom from Maine, and many believe it originated in Valencia, Spain, but evidence is lacking.
