This variety originates from Greece, island of Santorini, where it has historically been grown as a heritage variety for many years. This tomato variety is believed to be the one with the highest lycopene content in the world.
The Santorini variety is special because it can grow in dry conditions (without moisture) and produce a harvest. Another feature is the beauty of the grape-shaped fruits: the bright small poppy-colored fruits have a mild sugary sweetness. The taste is perfect. The third feature is the yield of the variety. The plants are covered with small red flattened fruits of a beautiful rich color. Fruits in bunches ripen at the same time.
Early and very beautiful salad variety. Also, due to their beautiful shape and good balance of taste, the fruits are suitable for canning.
