The Da Costa's, Portuguese variety comes from Portugal, from the Val and Dan McMurray
collection. The latter during his travel around Portugal collected seeds while eating a sandwich with
tomatoes.
The fruits are large, beautiful, pink in color, usually weighing between 400 and 600 grams, are 10 to
12 cm in diameter, round, flattened, ruffled at the stalk, the flesh meaty. Great sweet and fragrant
fruit of a good and rich taste. The plant is strong, has excellent genetic development, regular dense
foliage, indeterminate variety. Da Costa's, Portuguese is an early and very productive tomato.
