Sėklos pardavimui pirmą kartą pristatytos privataus augintojo Aleksandro Dmitrievo iš Rusijos, Volgogrado miesto. Originalus pavadinimas buvo Oranzhevyi Gigant, visgi vėliau prie pavadinimo buvo pridėtas Dmitrieva, kad ši veislė būtų atskirta nuo kitos Rusijoje gerai žinomos Oranzhevyi Gigant veislės. Augalas užauga iki 160 cm. Vaisiai dailios formos, rievėti. Ryškiai oranžinė spalva. Skonis turi išraiškingą rūgštelės natą, sveria iki 600 gramų. Įprasta lapija. Vėlyvas augalas, derantis iki šalnų.
